Jotunheimen is known for its magnificent and dramatic landscapes, making it one of Norway’s most iconic mountain areas. Here, we find Norway’s highest peaks, most stunning glaciers, and coziest mountain lodges, which is why we have planned an adventure here with you!

Instructors: Lars Bukkehave & Maria Winther
Language: English, Danish & Norwegian
Price: XX pr person
Requirements: That you can hike with a 5 kg backpack

DAY FOR DAY
Day 1 – Wednesday: Travel from Denmark to Raubergstulen, located in the heart of Jotunheimen. The mountain lodge will be our home for the next few days, providing easy access to our upcoming adventures.
Day 2 – Thursday: We will head towards Smørstabbsbreen, where our two guides, Lars & Maria, will lead us into a landscape most people only dare to dream of but rarely get the chance to experience!
Moving across a glacier requires specific equipment and techniques, but most importantly, good communication and teamwork.
Day 3 – Friday: We transition from moving on the ice to exploring what we call “blue ice.” Today, we return to the glacier to search for stunning ice formations with their unique blue hue—perhaps even venture into the mesmerizing blue tunnels. This requires solid skills, which we worked on yesterday.

Day 4 – Saturday: We finish at the top—literally! Today, we are heading up Norway’s highest mountain, Galdhøpiggen. Standing at 2,469 meters above sea level, it is the highest peak in Norway, Scandinavia, and Northern Europe. Even better, our journey begins with a crossing of Styggebreen, allowing us to put together the skills and teamwork we’ve developed over the past few days to reach the top of Norway.
Day 5 – Sunday: It’s hard to grasp everything we’ve experienced together over the past few days! This morning, we take it slow and soak in the stunning views before beginning our journey back home.
The program can change due to snow amount, temperature and wind. But we promise that you will get a lot of training on the glacier no matter what.
