Norway offers some of the best ice climbing in Europe, with a mix of single-pitch, multi-pitch, and alpine routes. This advanced course is for experienced climbers looking to take their skills further, with a focus on multi-pitch efficiency, mixed climbing, and backcountry terrain.

Requirements: To participate, you must have completed a Level 2 multi-pitch ice climbing course. This ensures that everyone has a solid foundation in ice climbing techniques and multi-pitch systems.

All participants are expected to bring their own climbing equipment (except for ice screws, which we provide).

Price: DKK 8.000,- per person


DAY FOR DAY 

Day 1 – Jan: afternoon: Travel to XX, Norway. Arrival in the afternoon

Day 2 – Jan: Some top rope to get back into ice climbing.

Day 3 – Jan: Top rope, lead practice, rope practice.

Day 4 – Jan: We will go off the ground and aim for the sky. 

Day 5 – Jan: Alpine ridgeline climb on running belay

Day 6 – Jan: Multi pitch

Day 7 – Jan: Dry tool & mix climbing

Day 8 – Jan: Last energy out on some top rope around 14:00

This program and location is a template and it might change according to weather and ice conditions.

Instruction 8 days (3 instructors or 3:1 ratio)
Stay at AirBnB Oppdal (7 nights) double rooms
Lighted ski track next to our home
Borrow of ice screws for lead

Not included:
Personal climbing gear
Travel to Oppdal
Travel expenses while being at te course (car rental, gas, etc)
Any kind of insurance
Snowshoes (75dkk pr day)
Food during the course (we are going to buy shared food and cook together)
